Hanley Dingle and Hanley Court both occur near Hanley William around SO682662, in vc Worcestershire, though nearby Upper Sapey is in Herefordshire. Ley collected in this area at the time. There's a Hanley Court in Herefordshire, but at the other side of the county.

May I respectfully suggest that all that should be entered in the Locality field is "Hanley Dingle vc 37 SO685664 ".

The curatorial gloss "Hanley Court nr Upper Sapey" goes in the Notes field; "Hanley William" goes in the User Comments field; there is only one specimen and hence only one Locality.

It is essential to transcribe accurately what the Collector has written and keep separate our own comments; otherwise we commit forgery.
