Do you mean for instance, where a placename was illegible or the taxon was very doubtful, etc? The advantage over putting on message board is that it will be seen repeatedly until edited correctly |

No I mean one my personal list of edits there are 10 'partially completed' because for what ever reason a the time of editing I clicked the partially completed tab. But they have mostly been edited since by me or someone else but are still listed as 'partially completed' even when all available info has been entered. |

Recently I have had several sheets to edit that came up maked something like 'This sheet has been partially completed by someone else'. Who this was is not given, although it would be possible to search. I guess this is where your sheets go, and it is a bit annoying that they are not trackable. The same is also true for 'label on back' I think. |

Sorry not to have replied to this much sooner.
You can return to view and/or complete your partially-complete sheets by viewing your documentation history, ie.:
http://herbariaunited.org/atHomeHistory.php?uid=664&sort=createddesc
and clicking on the partially completed link to view:
http://herbariaunited.org/atHomeHistory.php?uid=664&partial=1
These may already have been finished-off by someone else but, if not, then the left-hand column of the results on that page will show an ellipsis rather than a + symbol. Re-editing a partial sheet and saving as finished will take it off the partial list.
As Roger noted, 'partial' sheets may be reallocated to someone else at random. They can complete the sheet themselves, in which case the second user gets credit for it - there is also the option to say that the completion is a 'minor edit' in which case the first worker gets all the credit for the sheet and it no-longer appears on the partial list.
There's nothing you can do about 'partial' sheets that have been completed and claimed by someone else - but hopefully that it's better to get at least some credit for having worked on them. |
