N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Braid Bog - the most likely topographically may be SW of Rhynie, towards Roman Hill, S Aberdeenshire, at NJ427184. 'Braidbog' is a minor place name SW of Lintmill & Cullen, Morayshire, at NJ495635. Beoraidbeg is on the coast and a loch near Mallaig, Inverness-shire, at NM675935, for what that's worth! Balfour has no other 1835 specimens in h@h

In 1835 AHB, then aged 17, is surely more likely to have collected nearer to home (Edinburgh) along the Braid Burn NT2570
