N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Top left label could read 'by Mr Mennlifluh' or something completely different!

Perhaps JK is Josef Armin Knapp, 1843-1899 of Botanical journey of Josef A. Knapp in Galicia as a part of exploration of Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. The ending may be 'fluss', river.

J Knapp has 11 h@h specimens, from Midlothian, Perthshire and Caernarvonshire, and none from abroad; from between 1835 - 1837. I guess others may have been edited as JK, JR, etc, as his 'signature' is just initials, sometimes rater scratchy ('Dr Knapp' in one case, and 'Dr J Knapp' in another). The dates, and Britain, seem wrong for Josef Knapp of the article.
