N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Of the 7 such labels, those I've looked at, eg http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/372620/ seem to have S Bond on the transcribed label, but S Bard on the original (though less obviously on this one)

Samuel Bard, whose wikibio is linked to your suggested collector, flourished in the C18th.

I think Hodgson's co-collector was S. Bond, as stated.

Could the collector be the Sarah Bond who has one specimen collected in 1955 with Elizabeth Joan Gibbons in South Lincolnshire - 344171?

Alternatively a Dr John G Hodgson of the Unit of Comparitive Plant Ecology, University of Sheffield, published with 'S R Band' (Functional Ecology 1993 7, 236-241)!
