Polam Hall, Darlington, formerly owned by a quaker rail magnate. Presumably known to James I'Anson who was born in Darlington to a Quaker family and worked for the South Eastern Railway.

I've realised that the wikipedia article I cited is not the right James I'Anson, but I should think is still related.
