This sheet has handwriting typical of J Woods and also untypical. I find 5 other Woods specimens from Cornwall same month, only one entirely in typical Woods handwriting.

I notice that searching for VC1 and dates up to 1830 returns several Joseph Woods and 'J W' sheets often associated with George Lloyd.

This untypical script on J Woods sheets always bugs me - sometimes it's probably Townsend's, sometimes probably J Oliver's, but I now see a similarity with Lloyd's see http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/344126/?image eg the 'R'
