This species has been entered/edited as R limosus [synonym of palustris - CTW2] and as R dentatus. Since the latter appears in Stace2 as 'a rather rare wool alien' how likely is it for this site and date?

Shoody was in use as late as 1978 in the area. A. C. Leslie in Watsonia, 12, 29-32 (1978) [pdf] referring to Solanum sarrachoides says:

"It may well have been originally introduced with wool shoddy, which is still used irregularly at Sutton."
