Edit history
N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

- 'Carran (Irish: Carn, meaning "The Cairn"), sometimes also spelled "Carron", is a small village in County Clare .......... Carran parish is located on the uplands of the Burren and is bounded on the northwest by County Galway and on the south by Kilnaboy. Slieve Carron, one of the highest points in the Burren, lies just north of the village' - Wikipedia. Carrow however, as previously edited, is in N Tipperary, just beyond Co Clare on the opposite bank of Lough Derg. The Skeffington specimens of this period are well to the west of Co Tipperary
