Could 'Dr B' Dr J H Balfour?

Sheet 246401 "donated by: Prof John Hutton Balfour" (MD FLS FRS) is from Glen Fee, which is at the head of Glen Clova, on this date. Presumably he could have been referred to as 'Dr B.'
