N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Site? South Muirton / Muirston / Murston? See also http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/333463/?image There are many Scottish sites with very similar names, but none in or near Perthshire that I can find.

South Muirton, VC88, grid ref. NO1125. Does not show well on recent maps but see mid-C20th OS 25000 map.

Muirton Wood seems to have been a favourite hunting ground for Rubus
see Flora of Perthshire :

The Muirton references in Flora of Perthshire seem generally to be to 'Muirton Wood, Blairgowrie' which would suggest Muirton of Ardblair, OS NO1643. There is an internet reference to curling ponds in the Muirton Wood which points to that shown below:

OS Grid reference NO172439
