The herbaria@home database contains many references to Francis Alfred & Frederick Janson Hanbury, under collector and ex herb. These two botanist were distantly related.
The descendancy of the Hanburys is given in a very large file "Hanbury of Worcestershire" [pdf].
The author, Charles E. G. Pease of Kinloch, Pennyghael, Isle of Mull, has kindly extracted the relevant information which is summarised below. Highlighted Francis Alfred and Frederick Janson are shown to be fifth-cousins. Also highlighted is Daniel Hanbury who is also represented in h@h, alongside his brother Sir Thomas with whom he establishing the Giardini Botanici Hanbury at La Mortola, Italy.
There is a single herbaria@home example of FJ Hanbury collecting with an M Hanbury (sheet 348534). Perhaps this was his wife Mary Jane Scarborough Hanbury née King (also appearing in the above file).
