It's Gors Goch SN9393

The difficulty with the Gors goch on the back of Bryn Crugog is that it is in Montgomeryshire, whereas the specimen is clearly labelled "Flora of Ceregigion". I suggest a more likely location is the bog just to the south of the small village of Gors Goch at SN 484 505. This at least has the virtue of being in Cardinganshire. On the other hand, gors goch is such a common name in Wales that there could well be another Cardinganshire location or two. The specimen is so recent that the best approach may be to ask the collector or Arthur Chater.

You are correct. I have now done what I should have done in the first place: looked to see where Dr Agnew was that day.
