N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

- The place name Golden well Herefordshire is very clear and a search of google returned this THERE is a well in the church of Marden, Herefordshire. ... PETERCHURCH : THE GOLDEN WELL. Tradition has it that a fish was once caught in the river Dore, ..even though it does not appear on site search so I have accepted it.
I have tried to locate the site of specimen 2 but can tie no place to where A.L was at that time around 1890.
