Is it me or is there a reason why I can't cut and past to/from the input form?

I'm not sure, cut and paste of text is meant to work (it works for me). What specifically are you trying to do?

| It was when I was trying to find a location and wanted to copy from "user comments" to a message body. I still can't do it there nor in the Google box, (tho can from all other boxes). |

Thanks for reporting this. I have the same problem with Internet Explorer, but not with firefox.
I'll follow-up this message once the problem is fixed.
