N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

I have not given a collector as the date is very wide [year only] and I can find no record of Langley Kitchen being in or near Jersey, likewise there are the initials? M D [Margerat Dawber ?] but again no evidence.

There are several of Langley Kitching's sheets on the database from CI in 1898 and a few in 1897. I agree the initials MD are puzzling but perhaps (s)he was there as well?! Confused
Hope this helps

Dear Sarah
Many thanks for this and past comments.
I did not expect any reply to this [and some others] as I 'untick' the 'reply' box, which at times it seems to ignore, I just add comments for any future viewers, users in case there is some new information or any other reason.
If I think there is any doubt/choice.
But thanks again for replying it is always nice to hear from others at the coal face.

Hi, Chris,
Well it does say that "Posts here are generated automatically when you 'seek feedback' on the documentation form."
I am not quite sure whether it is better (more polite? Confused ) to edit the sheet directly or to post a reply, but as you hadn 't I have now added Langley Kitching as collector. This sheet is consistent with others of his.
