N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Site is written as Black Tor, and I have taken this to be the one in Derbyshire, near Crowden; though there are also Black Tor and Black Torrington in Devon. Although collector and date are not recorded, label states this specimen was on sheet with C panicea; which if found might have more info/clues.

This doesn't look to me like C. pseudocyperus.

Also, the MS note on the left states C. panicea and what looks like 'Blackdon' (not Black Tor). Does http://leisure.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/shopbylocation/555500/132500/3500/GB/all/Blackdon-Hill refer?. [/img]

Definately not C.pseudocyparis or C panicea. Rather like C.distans, but I think it is probably C.binervis.

I now remember a collection from Frant, with scrawled handwriting, the collector was A Carr.
