I found few other specimens from Aberdeen, with a photo for possible clues to more detail of the collection; only 2 are near this year. The Aberdeen collections are mostly Luzula arcuata; they refer to the region, not to a town.

The printed herbarium sheets in this style are F S Bennett's. She has specimens from this era from a number of Scottish collectors, including various anonymous ones, some with this handwriting from around 1839-40
