I have found a Fresgoe
OS Grid reference NC957660
in Caithness - I wonder if he could have heard Frishgo?

The word before the date is equally illegible. The Edward Edwards of the picklist seems to have very different handwriting http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/360011/?image and no other specimens from north of Essex or after 1846. I also couldn't read whether 1878 or 1879
