Ewing, Peter. F.L.S. (b. Kinross 13 Jul 1849, d. Glasgow 3 Aug 1913)

Ewing's obituary by W Barclay published in "The Journal of Botany British and Foreign" 1913 at pages 296-298 can be viewed at

His second wife who survived him was also an "accomplished field botanist".
