The scribble at the bottom of the label is 7mo 53 i.e. July 1853, and the collector is Wm Mudd.
He was a Quaker botanist from North Yorks; Quakers don't like to use the names of the months and simply number them. (Beware, though, before 1752 the first month was April because of the Julian calendar)
