I think you've got the date right but I think the collector could be William Mudd |

It looks much more like 8/1842 to me; definitely W Mudd. But his earliest specimen that I can find is 1845, one 1849, and all the rest from 1850 onward. |

William Mudd 8/1852
Mudd collected many specimens at Newton, which has been wrongly identified on H@H. Mudd's Newton is at NZ571132 beneath Roseberry Topping, a few miles northeast of Great Ayton. Would Tom kindly do a block edit? |
