The label says "Stapleton H 10" i.e. Flora of Herefordshire District 10 - Stapleton SO3265 near Presteigne.

I don't see why Ley's determination shouldn't be accepted; others of his gatherings of E. purpurata have been confirmed by V. S. Summerhayes.
