N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

This label is uniform with http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/314550/ http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/367249/ and http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/367165/ It suggests Littleton, Surrey, between Sunbury & Staines and south of Ashford, Middx, and not the sea-shore but the shore of St Mary's Reservoir. The grid ref on the label however is for a point north of another Ashford, in Kent. I don't know who the collector ES or JES is, Wallace usually collected with Jean Byatt; but I can't help suspecting J E Lousley, who appears on the other sheets as collector, and determiner, and in whose handwriting I think 'shore Littleton' is written. So the actual mystery handwriting is the main script on these labels - which isn't too different from Jean Byatt's. The other problem is that the grid ref for the site of Littleton near Staines (TQ075685) is regarded by the h@h 'gazetteer' as in vc Middx - and of course there's also another Littleton in Surrey, south of Guildford at SU985475, which isn't too different from the grid ref on the label! I think the site is the Littleton near the reservoir and the rest of the label is an unfortunate retrospective attempt, which Lousley then corrected ....?

There is a 'grid reference' in the Lousley system on the label. There should be a key on the Job Edward Lousley wiki page but the images have gone AWOL! It was published in his Flora of Surrey, page 86, but misprinted! It omits the hectad letters, SU or TQ for Surrey, so is prone to error. Here '94/D4' ought to be SU94T (by DINTY) which is around Loseley Park just east of Compton. I agree that Littleton next to Queen Mary Reservoir is much more likely. It also looks as though everything apart from the location was added, perhaps later, in a different hand, and perhaps by someone confused by Lousley's system.
