Edit history
N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

- I think the date on the upper specimen here is 18 June 1871. Very early for Dixon who was 10 years old at the time! Much more likely that Beeby was the collector as he has another Lewes sheet that month (320383), and the writing looks like his. Beeby died 1910, Dixon in 1944, and Hall in 1945. Perhaps the sheet passed from Beeby to Dixon who added the lower specimen.
(Spence's Field, TQ421109, is next to Spence's Lane along which Joseph Woods collected willows!)
