N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Any ideas please for collector 'RH' or 'RM' 8/1929 Doncaster?

R Harrison; see http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/391813/

Note Quaker style of date of collection.

In Loudon's Magazine of Natural History (1831), 'J.G.' (J E Gray?) calls him "my friend" (plants found at Danbury near Chelmsford).

Thanks! Harrison's other sheets in h@h are of Scheuchzeria palustris from Thorne Moor. A Thorne Local History Society web page says of that plant "Living material was first discovered by Robert Harrison in 1831" and describes him as a "Thorne botanist".
