N.B. reporting of the edit history is currently fairly unclear and misleading. Most edits made to specimens appear as a pair of 'add' and 'delete' entries, which may not be together in the list. There are also often 'minor' edits, which are made automatically (rather than due to user activity), for example to merge synonym names.

Dr Welwitsch, the sorce of a number of specimens; Lusitania = SW of Portugal & Spain; Villa Nova seems a common name, Villa Nova de Gaya, near Oporto seems of some importance; pr may mean meadows (pratenses) or near (proxima). Landshut is a holiday destination of lakes in the Black Forest, Bavaria (Bayern) Germany. The date is Aug 1865 the 2 people's names seem to be Schanger (can't read initial) and Huter. 'in fossis' is in ditches.

Welwitsch was in Lisbon 1839-53, then Angola, finally London 1861-72.

'P Schanger' may be J (Johann Baptist) Schonger (1809-1893) son of a goldsmith in Landshut (40km NE of Munich), and who worked as a pharmacist in Starnberg, 10km SW of Munich. Schonger's particular expertise was in violets.

Rupert Huter (1834-1919) Austrian clergyman and botanist (Wikipedia). Similarly written name to that on this specimen of Arenaria huteri.
