I suspect all place-names:
Holms Sands; Moffat; Mabberley; Yately; Bewdley; near W Smith's.

Yep, could be, though seems a lot and fairly well dispersed! Amended. Thanks Mike d'A.

I think they all refer to Moffat, with references back to the other specimen on the sheet.. There are several places: Holm Street, Holm House, Holms Farm etc in the Moffat area. Could the obscured word be Saint (?a church?)

That would make sense - also on re-looking the Nr might be a Mr - there were a few active Mr (as opposed to Rev) W Smith botanists then - Mr William H and Mr William Gardner Smith look the most promising, so gone for a comment hopefully summarising possibilities! Thanks Mike d'A
