Thanks; I haven't succeeded in finding the site, however a group of places named Lethans and similar is North of Dunfermline, in NT09

It is curious, it is clearly written on the sheet and referred to in the two texts above BUT does not appear anywhere else - not even Genuki Gazeteer.
In Fife, there is a place called Lathones -

Or maybe, since 'den' names (wooded glen) are usually witten in this style, Den of Letham? The name Letham recurs in Fifeshire, eg Letham Hill Wood E of Inverkeithing, near Queensferry looks suitable, and there's a Letham Glen near Leven apparently. Drummond has no other Fifeshire specimens in h@h
