A very well known botanist. I have two records of hers from the Isle of Wight :-

Charlotte Eden Palmer 1830-1914, lived in Lighthorne Warks, some important records in J E Bagnall's Flora of Warks, granddaughter of:
the Countess of Aylesford 1760-1832, resided at Packington Hall still the seat of the fmily, she added about 30 new species to the county list and produced nearly 3000 paintings of flowers, these can now be found in the Oxford Univ Herb, together with important specimens gathered by C E P.
