Biography
Alban Lomax was a pharmaceutical chemist. He died (aged 33) in the Northern Hospital (from 'cerebral inflammation'), Liverpool - 4th may, 1894.
He described a new species of Cerastium, J of Botany, Vol 31, 1893.
He was a member of the Watson Exchange Club and contributed to Science Gossip.
Father was Ebenezer W Lomax - second master of Ely Grammar School.
