- The deleted words are Grey Seg (Sedge) and I suspect Darlington. On a similar sheet, l'Anson has used D as an abbreviation for Darlington: http://herbariaunited.org/specimen/382496/ and on another he's written Seg. The only reference I can find to Drop well, is Dropswell Farm, far to the NE near Hurworth Burn Reservoir, NZ392338. I think Brunton is probably not the collector, but has written the identification note which has been stuck over l'Anson's identification
