Captain James Henry Augustus Steuart
1834 Born 8 Nov; Only child of the late Rev. C. A. Steuart, of Sunningdale Park, Berkshire.
1855 married Kathleen Eleanor Henrietta O'Grady daughter of Lord Guillamore.
1895 Died 26 February at his residence, Salisbury Gardens, Ventnor.
Member Botanical Exchange Club (36 specimens 1888) and Watson Botanical Club.
Educated at Eton.
Entered the 60th Rifles.
Second Lieutenant by purchace 1852 London Gazette
Later Captain in the Surrey Militia.
Great devotion to botany of the Isle of Wight.
