Biography
Born 2 December 1842.
From 1864 curator at the Zoological Museum in Oslo.
1882 he became director and from 1884 a professor.
Author of Norges Pattedyr (Norwegian mammals) 1912.
Died, Christiania (Oslo) 27 January 1913.
