Biography

BA London, gained an exhibition at Jesus College, Oxford, graduated in honours and won the Hall-Houghton Prize. Took Holy Orders, and held a curacy at Leeds parish church.
Warden, St. Michael's Theological College, Aberdare & Llandaff (1897-1914).
1907 "Author A flora of Glamorganshire".
Rector, Wigginton, Oxford (1914-1918).
Rector, Bloxham, Oxford (1918-1936)..
Married Maud (c.1870-1943), daughter of Walter Butt (Rev. Walter William Arthur Butt), three daughters, second of whom became Dame Mildred Riddelsdell.
Buried St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Lingfield' Surrey.
Author of "Flora of Gloucestershire" published posthumously (1948; with George Ward Hedley & William Robert Price).
